Most insulation jobs get done once and forgotten. The homeowner feels the difference the first cold morning after you leave – rooms that used to run fifteen degrees colder than the thermostat suddenly match the rest of the house. That’s what the work actually looks like from the inside. You crawl into a hot attic in July, you assess what’s there, you put the right material in the right place, and you walk out knowing the family inside that house will have a lower bill this winter. No gray area. No guesswork about whether you made a difference.
We’ve been doing this since 2002 as part of the Threshold Group family, and the crews who stay with us tend to stay because the work is honest and the company runs clean. Written prices before anyone touches anything. Technicians sent by name and photo before every visit. A 365-Day Done Right Promise stamped on every job. That’s not marketing copy – that’s the daily standard you’d be working to. If that sounds like somewhere you’d want to put your name, keep reading.
Who We’re Looking For
- Attic Insulation Technician: Someone who can read a space, work carefully in tight conditions, and cares whether the job holds up after they leave.
- Spray Foam Installer: A detail-oriented hand who understands that foam application is as much about patience and precision as it is about equipment – bad technique shows up later, and we don’t do later.
- Blown-In Insulation Specialist: Someone comfortable running hose, managing fill depth, and working methodically through an attic until the coverage is right, not just fast.
- Installation Apprentice: A person who shows up ready to learn, asks good questions, and isn’t bothered by a steep learning curve in the first few months.
- Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator: An organized, calm communicator who can manage a schedule, relay accurate information to technicians and homeowners, and keep a busy day from becoming a chaotic one.
- Customer Service Representative: Someone who listens before they talk, gives straight answers, and understands that the person on the other end of the phone is trusting us with access to their home – that’s not a small thing.
What We Offer
Real Training and a Clear Path
We don’t hand you a truck and a manual and wish you luck. Apprentices work alongside experienced lead technicians from day one, learning on real jobs with real materials – Owens Corning, Knauf, Rockwool, Icynene, and the rest of the eight-brand lineup we keep on hand. As your skills build, so does your role. The path from apprentice to lead technician is a well-worn one here, and we know what it takes to get you there.
Work You Can Stand Behind
The Threshold Standard shapes how every job runs: written price up front, background-checked crew, photo ID at the door, a 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing. When you work here, you’re not improvising around a bad process – you’re executing a good one. That matters because at the end of the day, your name is attached to the work you do, and we make sure the work is worth attaching your name to.
Local Crew, National Backing
Each Aspen Attic Insulation location is independently owned and operated, which means you’re working with a local crew that knows the buildings, the climate, and the neighborhoods in your area. But you’re also backed by a national brand that’s been operating since 2002, with the material relationships, the operational playbook, and the Threshold Verified standard behind every job. Small enough to know your name. Established enough to keep the work coming.
Steady, Year-Round Demand
Attic insulation isn’t a seasonal luxury – it’s a year-round need. Homeowners call us in summer because their upstairs is unbearable. They call in winter because their heating bill is wrong. Spring triggers air-sealing jobs. Fall triggers pre-heating-season installs. There’s no single slow month that defines the calendar, which means the work doesn’t dry up when the leaves do.
No Experience? Read This.
If you’ve spent time in construction, HVAC, roofing, drywall, or really any trade that put you in tight spaces and asked you to work carefully and methodically – more of that transfers here than you’d think. Attic insulation rewards people who understand building assemblies, can follow a process without cutting corners, and genuinely care whether the finished product holds up. The specific product knowledge, the equipment, the Threshold Standard protocols – we teach all of that.
Your first months on the job are structured: you’ll shadow experienced technicians, learn the materials we carry and why each one suits different conditions, and build the kind of hands-on confidence that only comes from doing real installs under real supervision. We’re not looking for finished technicians at the start. We’re looking for people who have the right instincts and the patience to build the skills. If that’s you, the learning curve is shorter than it looks from the outside.
